Indian dramatist, Badal Sarkar, released a playback in 1965 namely ‘Baki Itihash’ which revolves around the moral decay of society.
The film is based on this play and will be directed by Baappa and produced by Shree Krishna International Films. The movie is all set to release on the 17th of September with music composed by Soumya Rit will be starring Shubhashish Mukhopadhyay, Joy Sengupta, Bidipta Chakraborty, Rahul Banerjee, Anindya Banerjee, Basabdatta Chatterjee, Lama Haldar, Rajat Ganguly, Pradip Bhattacharya, Sandip Mandal, Aritra Dutta, Subhasis Banerjee, Debranjan Nag and Arpan Bose.
Although the play was released more than half a decade ago, it still holds good in today’s world. The movie shows how the population in general ‘protests’ and ‘riots’ against the social evils but doesn’t do anything about it when one faces it in real life.
