‘Swatantraveer Savarkar’ is an upcoming Hindi movie released on May 26, 2023. The movie is directed by Randeep Hooda and will feature Randeep Hooda and Amit Sial as lead characters.
On Saturday, the official biography of politician and activist Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, Swatantra Veer Savarkar, starring Randeep Hooda, debuted its first image. In honour of Savarkar Jayanti, which marked the activist’s 139th birthday on Saturday, Randeep shared the movie’s first look and poster on social media, in which he is portrayed by Savarkar. Producers also published a motion poster of the appearance.
Sharing the poster on social media, Randeep Hooda wrote, “This is a salute to one of the tallest unsung heroes of India’s struggle for freedom and self-actualisation. I hope I can live up to the challenge of filling such big shoes of a true revolutionary and tell his real story which had been brushed under the carpet for so long.”
