We receive a brand-new trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem at the same time as the upcoming Spider-Verse film, which opens in theatres on Friday. The new footage is just as stylish as the previous trailer for the movie and this time goes a little further into the personalities of the turtles (particularly Raph’s anger issue) and the challenges they face. Basically, it’s a bunch of intimidatingly large mutants.
It is scripted by Jeff Rowe, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Dan Hernandez, and Benji Samit; directed by Jeff Rowe (in his feature film debut); co-directed by Kyler Spears. It was made by Nickelodeon Movies and Point Grey Pictures, and Paramount Pictures will handle distribution.
Plot- Four Turtle brothers go on a mission to become recognised as heroic youths after spending years hiding from the outside world in New York City’s sewers. The brothers’ toughest struggle puts them in the sights of a secret crime syndicate and an army of mutants. They are helped by their human buddy April O’Neil.
