Thallumaala is an upcoming Indian-Malayalam language action thriller film directed by ‘Khalid Rahman’. Written by Muhsin Parari and Ashraf Hamza, the film is produced by Ashiq Usman. The film stars Tovino Thomas, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Shine Tom Chacko in lead roles. Principal photography begins on 12 October 2021 and will be released in 2022.
In October 2019 Thallumaala was announced as Muhsin Parari’s second directorial venture. Ashiq Abu and Rima Kallingal are the producers of the movie. Tovino Thomas and Soubin Shahir were also announced as lead actors then. Later in February 2022, Muhsin Parari announced that he will only do part of the script. Khalid Rahman will be the film director and replace Aashiq Abu and Rima Kallingal. Soubin Shahir was also dropped from the film and was replaced by Sharaf U Dheen.
The first-look poster of the film was released on 3rd April. The poster shows the colourful Tovino Thomas sitting on top of a car. Thallumaala, which is touted in the role of Manavalan Waseem and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the role of Beepaathu, a social media influencer. Shine Tom Chacko, the talented actor is reportedly playing a pivotal role in Khalid Rahman’s directorial.
This film is going to release on 7th July 2022.
