Netflix is back with another thriller featuring a set of powerful women, titled ‘The Five Juanas’ which will be released on the OTT site on the 6th of October. The series is based on the Colombian novel ‘Las Juanas’, created by Bernardo Romero and written by Alejandro Reyes and Jimeno Romero, his daughter. The crew of the series includes Lemon Movies (Monarco, Management Z) as their producer and Pepe Castro and Rodrigo Ugalde as the directors. The series will be starring Juana Arias, Oka Giner, Renata Notni, Sofia Engberg and Zuria Vega.
The story revolves around the story of five women who have no knowledge of each other, stumble into each other and discover the same birthmark, which then leads them to unravel the truth about their pasts and discover the web of lies spun by a very powerful politician.
