As they have spent months studying Kashmir’s history and talking to Kashmiri Pandits to comprehend their plight, Kahmir holds a special place in both Vivek and Pallavi’s hearts. Therefore, it was particularly special for the creators to launch the promotions in Kashmir, particularly on the alluring Dal Lake shores.

Vivek Agnihotri, who was enjoying the Dal Lake ride, commented on the series, saying, “Kashmir Files Unreported is like a valuable, significant, and priceless national archive presented by ZEE5. We began our extensive research in 2018, and it took us five years to compile the information we needed to produce the series. We have worked with experts, journalists, and victims to present it in the most delicate, genuine, and sincere manner possible. We frequently lose sight of compassion while residing in the hustle and bustle of large cities.

This series reminded me of the fundamental oneness philosophy that originates in Kashmir. We become the victims and lose sight of the fundamental principles of kindness and compassion while fighting to divide or partition. We are all one in the end. I had one constant thought while filming The Kashmir Files Unreported: “Is it honest, sincere, right, or okay?” I tried to present everything as it was, and I think I did its justice. Many broken Kashmiri pandit families sent me emails saying that the movie finally began their 32-year healing process. Hearing that made me feel very satisfied. Through the series, viewers will learn who carried out acts of terrorism no doubt that it will affect the next generation as well.
