True-crime fans can’t get enough of Netflix’s latest release, which is based on the infamous story of the Yorkshire Ripper. The Ripper, a new thrilling, gruesome crime four-part docuseries on the Yorkshire Ripper murders in late 1970s England, is now on the streaming platform.
The Ripper series is based on a true-crime incident that occurred in West Yorkshire and Manchester. The killings occurred between 1975 and 1980 and the culprit was a man named Peter William Sutcliffe. The man was convicted of killing 13 women and attempting to murder 7 others during this time. He was known as the Yorkshire Ripper.
Gritty, sinister, and visually striking, Ripper is a gripping thriller, with well known crafted characters and completely lurid plotlines, beyond pandering to a ghoulish fascination with Sutcliffe, there really is little reason for it to exist.
The Ripper will be a fascinating series to watch because it will examine the underlying factors that slowed down the investigation, instead of talking about the killer himself.
The Ripper would be something out of the ordinary. People from all over the world can tune in to Netflix. It has been released Wednesday, December 16 and does watch the series on your devices. Any user with an active subscription of Netflix can watch the miniseries on their device.
