‘Virata Parvam’ is an upcoming Indian Telugu language period action drama film. Which is written and directed by Venu Udugula and produced by D. Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri. The film stars Sai Pallavi and Rana in lead roles, while Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, Zarina Wahab, Easwari Rao, and Sai Chand will be seen in supporting roles.
The story revolves around the Naxalite movement in the Telangana region in the 1990s. The photography of the film began in July 2019 and ended in December 2022. Including filming locations in Telangana, Kerala, including Vilarabad, Warangal, and Hyderabad. The name of the film is given by Suresh Bobbili and the Cinematography is done by Dani Sanchez – Lopez and Diwakar Mani. It was initially scheduled to release on 30 April 2021 but was postponed due to the Covid-19 situation in India.
‘Virata Parvani’ is based on the Naxalite movement in the Telangana region in the 1990s and is scheduled to be released in cinemas on 17 June 2022. In June 2018, Venu Udugula said that his second directorial venture would be a period love story set in the 1990s and would be a “Commercial Entertainer” focusing on politics and action, apart from focusing on romance. This film is made about the Naxalite movement in Telangana in the 1990s. Udugula wrote the story of the events witnessed in his childhood in Warangal. The film was launched in June 2019 and is now going to be released in theatres on June 17, 2022.
