Future American comedy-drama for the whole family, You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, will be helmed by Sammi Cohen from a screenplay by Alison Peck, with Adam Sandler serving as producer. The movie, which is based on the same-titled young adult novel 2005, stars Sunny Sandler, Samantha Lorraine, Idina Menzel, Jackie Sandler, Sadie Sandler, Dyan Hoffman, Sarah Sherman, Dan Bulla, Ido Mosseri, Jackie Hoffman, and Luis Guzman. It tells the tale of two best friends who battle for the attention of a popular boy, who influences their plans for a bat mitzvah.
You Are So Not Invited to Bat Mitzvah will be released on August 25, 2023, and was produced by Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Production in collaboration with Alloy Entertainment.
Best friends Stacy Friedman and Lydia Rodriguez Katz have always imagined having grand bat mitzvahs, milestone occasions in jeopardy, and things start to go hilariously wrong. You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, a young adult novel by Fiona Rosenbloom published in 2005, will be turned into a feature film with Adam Sandler and Sammi Cohen in 2022, according to a Netflix announcement. The adaptation will be done by screenwriter Alison Peck.
Beginning on June 29 and lasting until 11 in Toronto, Canada, respectively, was principal photography. Co-producing the movie with Happy Madison Production was Alloy Entertainment. Idina Menzel. Jackie Sandler, Sadie Sandler, Sunny Sandler, Samantha Lorraine, Dylan Hoffman, Sarah Sherman, Dan Bulla, Ido Mosseri, Jackie Hoffman, and Luis Guzman were among the names that were made public as having been cast in the movie in July 2022.
