Flights may resume on Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal R post the extended lockdown

A senior official of operator DIAL said that commercial passenger flight will resume from Terminal 3 after the lockdown ends. Entry gates, security check, the self-check-in machine will be allocated to avoid the overcrowding at the airport.
The airport will open all food and beverages shops to avoid overcrowding at one place. They made a whole plan that which flight will come on which gate.

The plan said that Vistara and IndiGo will enter through gate 1 and 2 only. These two airlines will have check-in rows A, B and C.
AirAsia and Air India will enter through gate 3 and 4. These two airlines will have check-in rows D, E and F.
SpiceJet and GoAir will enter through gate 5. These airlines will have check-in rows G and H.
The plan said that the passenger of all other domestic airlines will come through gate 5 and will lead to row H.

The DIAL officials said “Initially, once the lockdown is over, the commercial passenger flight will be operating from Terminal 3 only. Later, once the number of flight will be increased, other terminals will be used.”
The operator will encourage to use Mobile payment and Mobile menu on food and beverage shop, to avoid queues.
