Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh is admitted in All India Institute of Medical Science, Delhi. He complained that he having chest pain due to which he got admitted in the hospital.
Dr Singh is 83 and is under observation at the cardio-thoracic ward. His doctor is Dr Nitish Naik, a professor of cardiology at AIIMS hospital. Dr Singh was admitted at 8:45 in the morning.
Till now there are five bypasses performed on Dr Manmohan Singh, his first bypass was in 1990.
In 2009, there was a surgery called redo cardiac bypass surgery performed on Dr Manmohan Singh. A team of cardiovascular thoracic surgeon and also the vice-chairman of Asian Heart institute Dr Ramakanta Panda. Because, of that successful surgery, Dr Singh stopped complaining about his health.
