In order to go deep inside a character or even to bring the best out of themselves, sometimes the actors take extreme steps. It also includes drinking before the shoot. Here are some actors who drank while shooting.
1] Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Devdas’. The iconic role of Devdas could not have been done justice if it was not for alcohol.
2] Rajkumar Rao in ‘City Lights’. For a drunk scene in the movie, Rajkumar Rao thought drinking was important to get the authenticity of the scene.
3] Ranveer Singh in ‘Goliya Ki RaasLeela Ram Leela’. The actor did drink for an emotional scene with Deepika in the movie.
4] Vicky Kaushal in ‘Sanju’. The character of ‘kamli’ could not have been aced if it was not for Vicky Kaushal. He later said that he did drink to give a convincing performance.
5] Amir Khan in ‘Raja Hindustani’. The actor is known for not drinking. However, for a particular scene in the movie, the actor drank a whole bottle of vodka!
6] Amir Khan, R Madhavan and Sharman Joshi in ‘3 Idiots’. The iconic drunk scene of the movie had the three actors sitting on the stairs. However, before the scene, the three did have an alcoholic party!
