Ghaziabad again sealed the border along with Delhi as there is a sharp rise in covid-19 cases. Before this Ghaziabad had sealed its border in April after six people who came from Delhi tested positive for coronavirus.
And now the Delhi-Uttarpradesh border at Ghaziabad will be sealed once again, the Ghaziabad administration said today.
On Sunday,10 people proved positive in the district which earlier was among the areas worst affected by the virus.
There are 227 cases of covid-19 in Ghaziabad of which 33 are active cases and suddenly there is a rise in the number of coronavirus cases in the last few days.
Hence, The district administration again decided to seal the Delhi-Ghaziabad border. The sealing will be strict as lockdown 2.only employed people in essential service will be allowed, UP government said.
Doctors, paramedical staff, police and bank employees will not need a pass.
Heavy vehicles, cargo vehicles, vehicles related to bank services and essential services will also need no pass for crossing the border.
