Haryana Govt launched a new mobile app, ‘HelpMe’ for providing necessary services during the lockdown

On Saturday a mobile application ‘HelpMe’ was launched by Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar during the “Haryana Aaj Program”. This app will provide necessary services like telemedicine, movement passes, assistance in procurement, delivery of food, education material, even cash etc. The app is available on all android devices. Moreover, online portals have been opened for issuing ‘Distress Ration Tokens’ and people who were not able to get a BPL card, but have applied for it, would get 3-month free ration till June 30. Citizens seeking financial aid have been given an option to check eligibility and status of their application in real-time.

A person is required to fill the options as per their requirement which would be immediately forwarded to the concerned officer of the district who will then inform about the completion of the task to the citizen. There is an option for those who wish to help the people as volunteers, or can make contributions of food and also contribute to the Haryana Corona Relief Fund.
