Here’s All that we know about Raghav-Parineeti’s “rishtedaar”.

On May 13, lawmaker Raghav Chadha and actress Parineeti Chopra got engaged in New Delhi. Priyanka Chopra, the cousin of Parineeti and a global star, as well as AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, attended the lavish event.

Parineeti expressed her appreciation to her followers and the media on social media on Monday by posting a heartfelt statement in their honour.

She said, “Raghav and I are overwhelmed with the love and abundance of positivity we have received over the past few weeks, particularly on our engagement. We both come from different worlds, and it is amazing to know that our worlds also unite with our union. We have gained a bigger family than we could have ever imagined.”

Three Chief Ministers, including Bhagwant Mann of Punjab, Arvind Kejriwal of Delhi, and Conrad Sangma of Meghalaya, were present at the ceremony.

During the ardas held at the location, Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh, who was also a guest, could be seen standing close to the couple.

However, sources claim that the Punjabi cabinet members who were absent from the ceremony were occupied in Jalandhar as a result of the by-poll results.

Sidharth Chopra and Priyanka Chopra, actors, are siblings of Parineeti were also present there.  Kapil Sibal, P Chidambaram, Abhishek Singhvi, Sanjay Singh, Rajiv Shukla and his wife Anuradha Prasad, as well as musician Mika Singh and fashion designer Manish Malhotra, all made time to witness the engagement.
