Crime Drama “I AM YOUR WOMAN” is now streaming on Amazon Prime and Bolly4u

I’m Your Woman, the new crime drama premiering December 11 on Amazon Prime, feels familiar, that’s by design. According to director Julia Hart—who wrote and directed 2018’s Fast Color and this year’s Stargirl—the film was inspired by her love of action thrillers like 1981’s Thief, 1978’s Straight Time, and, of course, The Godfather, but conceived for the modern-day with a new line of thinking. “I love those movies,” she says, “but kept being struck by how the female characters get kicked out of the frame when the action starts to go down.”

That’s not the case with Woman, which stars Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs Maisel) as Jean, the wife of a seemingly low-level criminal who shows up one day with an infant and then disappears, leaving her to unravel the film’s mystery, battle its bad guys, and generally save the day herself.
