IndiGo is one of the biggest airlines, they agreed to help a migrant worker who sold his goats so that he could buy a ticket for a flight to go back to his home. The worker hasn’t earned his income since Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the lockdown in March due to spread of coronavirus.
The worker booked a ticket by selling his goats, but later the flight got cancel and there are no refunds.
The flight was cancelled because the state government of West Bengal restricted the air services. IndiGo, said, “it has booked tickets for the workers for June 1 at no extra charge.”
The Worker was travelling from Mumbai to West Bengal. It is also showed that the cancelled flight has a lack of coordination between provincial administrations and the federal government. Many Airlines are not refunding money if the flight is cancelled due to government orders or any other reasons.
