Vikram Vedha is an upcoming action thriller film with a noir aesthetic and it is the remake of a Tamil film of the same name which was released in 2017. The film is directed by the popular duo Pushkar-Gayathri. The film is produced by YNOT studios, Plan C studios and Reliance entertainment.
It stars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles while Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf, Yogita Bihani and Sharib Hashmi play supporting roles. The movie is based on the Indian folktale of Vikram and Betaal. The main plot of the remake is anticipated to be the same as that of the 2017 version of the movie.
The movie revolves around Vikram, a tough police officer who is trying to find Vedha, a murderer and smuggler to arrest him and take him into lawful custody. There is a lot of cats and mouse chase occurring during the whole movie and the film is packed with action and fighting scenes and car chases. There is a lot of speculation and anticipation regarding this movie and whether it will be better than the original movie.
