Jyotiraditya Scindia and mother test positive for Covid-19 admitted to Max Hospital in Delhi

BJP leader and former member of parliament, Jyotiraditya Scindia has tested positive for Covid-19 and admitted to a private hospital in Delhi. Sources said he was admitted to Max Hospital, Saket, on Monday.

Recently, many politicians were tested positive for Covid-19 including the Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal and also the BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon.

The mother-son duo was admitted to the hospital on Monday after they complained of throat irritation and fever. Also, senior Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi tweeted, “Not so good news. Jyotiraditya Scindia and his mother have tested positive for Corona, the former Congress turned BJP leader from MP has been admitted to hospital… Wish him a speedy recovery!”

Citing disgruntlement with the top leadership of Congress, Jyotiraditya Scindia quit the party on 10 March 2020 and joined BJP on the following day.
