Sonu Ke Titu ki Sweety actor Kartik Aaryan has reportedly been shown the exit door from the Dharma Production film Dostana 2, which was a sequel to the 2008 gay comedy Dostana. The prequel starred Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra. Jahnvi Kapoor was cast opposite him in this film.
Kartik Aaryan had shot many portions of the film and even took Karan Johar’s blessings before kickstarting the film. He had shared the picture on Instagram. Fans were excited to see the fresh pair of Kartik and Jahnvi. Their social media bonhomie had won many hearts. After the news spread, the makers have been accused of promoting nepotism.
Filmmaker and producer had time and again received opprobrium from audience distastefully promote nepotism in Hindi film industry and suppress real talent. This instance is also seen to be a testimony of it.
Fans of Kartik Aaryan took to social media and slam the makers to take such an unceremonious action and compared Kartik to Kangana and Sushant who has been systematically sidelined by the Bollywood bigwigs.
