LG Polymers apologises on Vizag Mishap says working day and night to help the victims

There was a gas leak incident in LG Chem subsidiary LG Polymers, the chemical plant, two days ago. It took the lives of 12 people. This took place in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Further, the company also compensated by putting up a special force for the families suffered due to this. “We assure you that we do our greatest to increase all the possible support to make sure people and their families who are suffering from this incident are taken care of,” the corporate said during a statement. “We also will actively develop and promote mid-to-long term support programs which will contribute to the local communities,” it said.

National Green Tribunal has also commanded to LG Polymers India Pvt. to submit 50 crores in the name of interim amount for causing damage to lives.
“Our teams are working day and night with the govt to assess the impact of the damage caused and take concrete measures to deliver an efficient care package which will be implemented immediately.”
