Romantic Drama movie Maara is the Tamil remake of Malayalam film Charlie (2015). It stars R Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles and is directed by Dhilip Kumar.
The plot follows as a young girl Paaru(played by Shraddha Srinath) running away from her home to escape getting married. She rents a room in a hotel where she finds a sketchbook with an incomplete series of paintings which fascinates her. Paaru begins a hunt to find the identity of the previous occupant who owned the sketchbook. That artist is none other our beloved Madhavan (Maara). It is a pure romantic drama show with an amazing and talented star cast.
The movie was initially set for a theatrical release but it will now release on the popular streaming platform Amazon Prime as confirmed by the actors. The actors took it to their social media accounts to share this news and already fans are gushing over the news. We wish good luck to the entire team!
Maara will release worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on 17th December.
