Maharashtra govt. reviewing and planning to ease lockdown restrictions from June 1

The state government of Maharashtra will ease down the lockdown from June 1, 2020, and the relaxations will be there but in a calibrated manner.

The imposition of lockdown begins from March 24, and the count of lockdown will be the day of 69 from June 1. To gauge out the response of people, Uddhav Thackeray has hinted restrictions will be going to ease down. According to experts estimations they are assuming and saying for the cases will gonna take a rise after the easing of the lockdown from June 1.

Anant Bhan, a researcher on global health, bioethics and health policy, said: “The exit strategy has got to be carefully applied and during a calibrated manner.

The decisions need to be more local, at ward levels, and therefore the impact must be constantly monitored.” Maharashtra recorded more than 100 deaths which are again the worst situations as compared with other countries. 36% of the total cases constitutes from this state only.

The state has also faced intense political strains within the past few days, with a tussle between the Central and state governments over the Shramik Special trains for migrant workers and the BJP unit in Maharashtra attacking the government over the growing number of Covid-19 cases.

The ruling Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi alliance put up a united front, with leaders from the Shiv Sena, Congress and Nationalist Congress Party addressing a joint news conference. So, as per the estimations records of this state are worst but still, the government needs to be cautious for this end of the lockdown.
