Veteran Indian actor, Pankaj Kapoor who has worked in theatre, television and films, has turned a year older today on the 29th of May. On this special occasion, wishes have been pouring in from all over, for the National School of Drama Graduate. But one wish that stood out, was from his daughter-in-law and son Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput Kapoor.
Taking to Instagram, she shared an unseen picture of the actor with wife Supriya Pathak, in which both can be seen, laughing their hearts out. She shared a beautiful caption along with it, in which she wrote “Happy Birthday Dad“. Nobody is as cool and as warm as you are. In a family of Alphonsus, we’re the Safedas! To the best ‘Baba’, We love you.”Pankaj Kapoor is one of the most accomplished industry actors and has played extremely diverse characters of all genres.
Shahid Kapoor, credited with his nuanced and fine performances in various films like ‘Haider’, ‘Udta Punjab’, ‘Kabir Singh and many more, credits his acting performances and choices his father’s influence. Mira Rajput and Shahid Kapoor got married in a private ceremony in Gurugram on July 7th, 2015.
Together they have a daughter ‘Misha’ born in August 2016 and a son ‘Zain’ in September 2018. On the work front, Shahid will be next seen in the sports drama ‘Jersey’, a remake of the Telugu film of the same name, along with Mrunal Thakur and father Pankaj Kapoor.
