Mohandas just, by the title hints, to the audience about the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. We have watched multiple movies based on Gandhiji’s life but, we have never gone beyond the flashback. His journey as a freedom fighter is famous all over the world. But, this film is going to focus on his childhood and will be releasing on October 1.
The film is written and directed by nine-time National Film Award winner, P. Sheshadri. Indeed, a biographical film that covers almost seven years from his childhood to adolescence.
The story is adapted by Sahitya Akademi Award-winning book Papu Gandhi, Bapu Gandhi Aada Kathe: The story of Mahatma Gandhi and The Story of My Experiments with Truth, the autobiography of Mahatma Gandhi. Kannada writer Bolwar Mahammad Kunhi written these. Param Swamy, Samarth Hombal, Shruti and Anant Mahadevan are in the leading roles. Veteran actor H.G. Dattatreya is also in a cameo.
Other casts include Shriram H.R., Abhayankar Bellur, Surya, Mata Koppala, Deepa Ravishankar and Nandini Vittal. The film must be thought-provoking for kids of the same age between 6-14 to witness the history and get inspired.
