The Narcotics Bureau Control arrested Aryan Khan, along with seven other people, Arbaaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, and Gomit Chopra on the third of October in a rave party in the presence of some hard drugs. The Mumbai Court held an extended hearing, where the NBC requested for an extension on the accused and the rest till the seventh of October for a fair investigation.
The NCB was represented by Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Anil C Singh and counsel Advait M Sethna, while lawyer Satish Maneshinde was representing Aryan Khan. The NCB drew similarities from the present case to the previously infamous Rhea Chakraborty case and argues to the court as to how he could prove the similarities between the two cases. Maneshinde rebutted the dissimilarities in the case and asked why the other guests present on the ship were not arrested. Khan’s lawyer made his case as to how Aryan was just a guest at the party and has no relations with the drugs present at the same.
