Oxford Covid-19 vaccine trials and manufacturing to begin in India soon.

AstraZeneca is among the leading vaccine candidates and a pharmaceutical company who has recently developed a Covid-19 vaccine by the University of Oxford. The vaccine was first experimented and showed positive results and safe to use and produced an immune response in early-stage clinical trials.

The data was showed on Monday. The vaccine is created by the company AstraZeneca which is a pharmaceutical company and by the scientists of Oxford University.

The scientists have guaranteed that the vaccine has no side effects and responded antibody and T-cell immune.
Serum Institute Of India, which is also a partner in the Oxford vaccine project has been chosen by Oxford and AstraZeneca to manufacture the vaccine once it gets ready.

“The trials have shown promising results and we are extremely happy about it. As soon as they grant us permission, we will begin with the trials for the vaccine in India,” Serum Institute’s Chief Executive Officer Adar Poonawalla said. Oxford vaccine is undergoing final-stage trial in Brazil.

However, India has been given the license of free trials of the Oxford vaccine on the coronavirus affected patients.
AstraZeneca has signed agreements with several countries to supply their new Covid-19 vaccine which will be essential and very effective for the coronavirus patients.
