PM Narendra Modi likely to lay the foundation stone for Ram Temple

Prime minister Narendra Modi has been invited on the auspicious laying ceremony for Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He will be laying the foundation stone on August 5th, 2020.

The Ram Janmabhoomi teeth trust suggested August 3rd or August 5th, which are auspicious dates according to the Hindu calendar for Prime minister’s visit, and it has been suggested that PM has chosen the latter.

100+ dignitaries including Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh are expected to be present for the ceremony. However, the final list of attendees is yet to be confirmed by sources. The ceremony is expected to be completed by the first week of August.

The Trust is also ensuring that proper social distancing and other rules are strictly imposed on everyone during the ceremony.

The temple construction is expected to be completed by 2023, I.e, about 3 years after the construction starts.
