PM Narendra Modi wishes everyone Eid ul-Adha.

On Saturday morning, Prime minister Narendra Modi has sent out greetings and wished everyone a very Happy Bakrid/ Eid ul-Adha which is celebrated on 31st July.

“Eid Mubarak! Greetings on Eid al-Adha. May this day inspire us to create a just, harmonious and inclusive society. May the spirit of brotherhood and compassion be furthered”, PM Modi tweeted.

He tweeted this with a message of brotherhood, peace, love, harmony be there between the loved ones.

Even many several other ministers also greeted and wished citizens on the auspicious occasion of Eid including President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu.

“Eid Mubarak! Idu’l Zuha symbolises the spirit of sacrifice and amity which inspires us to work for the well-being of one and all. On this occasion, let us share our happiness with the needy and follow social distancing norms and guidelines to contain COVID-19 spread,” President Kovind tweeted.

In Jama Masjid mosque of Delhi, the namaaz was held in the morning 6:05. The devotees also maintained a social distance in the view of Covid-19 pandemic. They followed guidelines and various steps were taken to ensure safety.
