Pune all set to begin the second phase of strict lockdown starting from July 18


The covid19 is begun to spread fastly over the country. So the country also begins to take many predictions against the virus. To control the spread of covid19 a strict two-phase lockdown has stared in the Pune city from Monday to July 23rd Thursday.

This lockdown is another attempt to break the chain of the covid19 spread. This is a 10 days lockdown. They split the lockdown into two-phase. The official said that the first phase is from 13th July to 18th July. This five days lockdown is going to be very strict. Many new restrictions are allotted by the city commissioner. The grocery store retails and wholesales stores are totally shut in the first phase of lockdown, from 14th to 18th July. The first phase of lockdown is going to end in a few days.

Strict lockdown from July 18th:

Now the city going to face the second phase of strict lockdown from July 18th. All the peoples are set to face the lockdown. In the second phase, there are some new restrictions and rules are allowed. On this phase of the lockdown, the wholesale and shops are allowed to open till July 23rd between 8 am to 12 pm.

Government offices are allowed to work with 10% staffs and the IT companies are allowed to work with 15% staff. Meat and seafood shops are allowed to work till 23rd July and they are allowed to open the shop between 8 am to 12 pm.

Bank will function with minimum manpower. All the educational institution are remain shut. All the hotels, restaurant, beauty parlor, worship, political activities, morning walk, evening walk, sports, resorts, malls, salons, spas, threatened, gym, swimming pools, etc., all are remain shut till 23rd July.


The whole world is trying to control this virus. We as a people must give our cooperation to destroy this virus. If we cooperate and follow the government rules we can easy came out of this dangerous situation.
