Raj Kumar Yadav popularly known as Rajkummar Rao is an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi films. He is the recipient of many awards, including a National Film Award, three Filmfare Awards, and an Asia Pacific Screen Award. He was born on 31 August 1984 in Prem Nagar, Gurugram, Haryana, India. He completed schooling from Blue Bells Model School and graduated in Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, University of Delhi. After that, he joined in two-year acting course In Film and Technical Institute of India (FTII), Pune. later he shifted to Mumbai for starting his film career.
He almost waited for 2 years for a role in a film later he got auditioned for Love Sex Aur Dhokha and has been finalized for the role. This brought him a lot of appreciation, as a result, he got a lead role in the film Ragini MMS(2011). After he did many more like Kai Po Che, shaitan, Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 2, Talaash, The Answer Lies Within and more. Rao received the National Film Award for Best Actor at the 61st National Film Awards ceremony and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor at the 59th Filmfare Awards.
