Paradise does not last forever, and it might be true for Shikhar Dhawan and Ayesha Mukherjee. The cricketer and the Australian kickboxer had been married for 8 years now and even have a son named Zoravar. Yet, the couple has decided to part ways and follow their own ambitions and passions.
In a very long post, Ayesha Mukherjee had declared her getting a divorce. She had also changed her Instagram name from Ayesha Dhawan to Ayesha Mukherjee. She wrote “ I have to go through it a second time. Woooahhhhhh. That is terrifying. Being divorced once before already, felt like I had more at stake the second time around. I had more to prove. So when my second marriage broke down it was really scary. All the feelings I felt when I went through it the first time came flooding in. Fear, failure and disappointment x 100. What does this mean for me? How does this define me and my relationship to marriage?”
However, she has said that she is fine now and this was quite necessary for her well being. Dhawan has not yet said anything official as such but he had posted a cryptic story on his Instagram “Kisi bhi mukaam ko paane ke liye poora Jaan, samjh, dil lagta hai. Pyaar hona chaiyeh apna kaam ke towards tabhi barkhat aati hain aur enjoyment bhi. Keep on working hard to turn your dreams into reality.“
We hope that they both find happiness in their daily lives now and we are also waiting for the news if Dhawan will be playing for the T20 World Cup, which will be held in UAE and Oman.
