The death of Sushant Singh Rajput struck the industry during the initial stages of the pandemic on the 14th of June, 2020. The actor was found dead in the bedroom of his Mumbai apartment. His death not only led to a wave of sorrow and sadness but also a series of arrests one of which includes Rhea Chakraborty, his alleged girlfriend. His death also led to the infamous Kangana Ranaut claims which stretched on for the next year targeting various other celebrities.
The 6th of September marked the second year of the movie’s release which was very well received from the audience. Nitesh Tiwari, the director did amazing work with SSR, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Tej, Navin Polishetty and Tahir Raj. Varun Tej took to Instagram to post an old video of the cast and crew during the promotions of the movie and captioned it with, “This was us 2 Years Back!! A Film which is Truly so Special for all of us. THANK YOU Guys for all the Love!! This one is for you Kammo! #2YearsofChhichhore”
Tahir Raj also became sentimental on the two years even of the movie’s release and posted a video on Instagram and captioned it “Thinking back to the amazing energy on this set and all our excitement before the release 🙂 Celebrating the mad ride and 2 years of Chhichhore“.
