Tata Motors restarts operation at 2 plants, planning on starting the rest

On Wednesday Tata Motors announced that after getting approvals from relevant government authorities, they will start operations at its Pantnagar which is situated in Uttarakhand and Sanand which is situated in Gujrat.

Tata Motors Pantnagar plant usually makes the best-selling Tata Ace, the mini one-ton truck. Whereas Tata Motors Sanand plant has an assembly line of various models of passenger vehicles like Nano, Tigor and Tiago.

The commencement of operations follows receipt of all necessary approvals from relevant government authorities, it added.

Tata Motors CEO and MD Guenter Butschek said-
“Our utmost priority is the safety and well-being of our employees, customers and ecosystem partners. Therefore, we restart operations with limited, essential staff in each plant, adhering to all mandated safety norms while efficiently meeting operational requirements.”
Tata Motors aims to start production in Lucknow, Dharwad, Jameshedpur, Pune.
