Telangana Home Minister in hospital after he tested positive for COVID-19

Telangana Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali was tested positive for Coronavirus and has been admitted to a corporate hospital in Hyderabad after he complained of respiratory problems. It is reported that the minister’s condition is stable currently.

Ali was admitted to the hospital on Sunday night when he complained of breathlessness, fever, cough and cold. It is reported that he attended many events last week and was having symptoms of coronavirus.

Ali’s two gunmen and his staff were also reported positive for Covid-19. Since the minister has asthma, he was rushed to a private hospital. On Sunday night the tests reports came positive.

Telangana has reported around 14,419 cases of coronavirus and 247 deaths. Around 60% of Covid-19 cases have been reported from Telangana’s Great Hyderabad region. The state witnesses 500 cases of coronavirus every day for the past 10 days.
