Munmun replied to Raj with emojis, which led to netizens comparing them with Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor. Having completed more than 3000 episodes, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is touted as the longest-running and one of the most successful sitcoms till date.
The show revolves around a harmonious housing society called Gokuldham and the varied life issues that the residents face. The show, since its inception, has seen many changes in the star cast. For those who aren’t aware, the famous Tapu Sena has grown up on the show and new faces have replaced the former lot.
The famous Tapu, earlier played by Bhavya Gandhi, has been replaced by Raj Anadkat. Raj has successfully managed to fill Bhavya’s shoes and is creating a niche for himself. One of the stars, Munmum Dutta, who plays the character of Babita, has been a part of the show since its very start. Recently, Munmun and Raj became victims of social media trolling.
Munmun took to Instagram and posted an array of photos of herself, wearing a plum-coloured outfit from a shoot. Raj aka Tapu took to the comments section and posted an array of emojis (love-struck eyes, sparkles, and ‘superb’ hand gestures). Munmun, too, replied to Raj’s comment with love-struck eyes and hands-joined emojis. While Malaika and Arjun are in a steady relationship, there have been slight relationship rumours surrounding Raj and Munmun.
Comments such as “congrats in advance”, “ur going to marry him”, “wahi sochu post kiye 1-hour hogaya, tumara comment Kyu nhi aya”, “achanak se kya hogaya tumko?? itne comments”, “one more Malaika and Arjun”, were posted on their emoji exchange. However, apart from the exchange of emojis, there have been no hints of a probable relationship between Munmun and Raj.
