Union Minister Harsh Vardhan says Delhi need stricter lockdown measures as liquor shops spark the crowd

As every state asked to open liquor shops, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said more strict action must be taken by the Delhi Government due to crowd outburst. The lockdown 3.0 needs to be more strict with the shops opened.

“Delhi is one among the places where considering the present status, more stringent action must be taken. I think that minimum relaxations should tend by Delhi government amid coronavirus lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus,” said Harsh Vardhan.
Delhi has been declared a red zone from May 4. That day, since early morning, the liquor shops of Delhi were opened. Since then, large queues have been seen outside the shops. People were seen standing on the brink of one another who refused to follow the social distancing norms as advised by the Centre.

After this, many liquor shops have been closed. Even orders of lathi charge were given, outside a shop in Kashmere Gate.
The security tried to request everyone to stand in a distance from each other but failed to do so. Around 150 shops are opened across Delhi.
