Ranbir Kapoor had already discussed the Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani sequel in 2018. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actor stated, “Ayan is on the difficult and time-consuming path to film Brahmastra. However, we have previously discussed Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani 2. He also has a suggestion, but he seldom argues that it would have made for a simpler movie if we had done that instead. Since he is driving himself insane while shooting this movie, it will be simpler than Brahmastra. You can’t be sure. Maybe there is a gap of six months between Brahmastra Parts 1 and 2.
“I think Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani would make a good sequel… Ayan also had a very nice story, I remember, but then he went into this Brahmastra journey. But, never say never. He might make it after a couple of years. I think the story will be 10 years forward when Bunny, Naina, Avi and Aditi, are where they are in their lives. I think it’ll be quite interesting and nice to explore those characters,” Ranbir said during a recent interaction with fans.
