Sony TV’s popular business reality show ‘Shark Tank India’ premiered on 20 December 2021. It quickly caught the interest of the audience due to its unique concept and became more popular. The show provided a platform for the budding entrepreneurs to present their strong and sometimes strange business ideas. Real-life investors and entrepreneurs judged the ideas of the pitchers. Among these various industry investors, are those who put their expertise on the table and either invest or reject ideas.
Sharks in the first season were Vinta Singh, Anupam Mittal, Ashneer Grover, Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Ghazal Alagh, and Peyush Bansal. They are the owner of all reputed businesses. They invested in the ideas in which they found potential. Now Shark Tank India is all set to return with its second season. Sony TV announced the news on its official Instagram handle, they posted a promo and informed the budding entrepreneurs that the registration for the second season has started. They wrote in the caption,” Are you a Budding Entrepreneur? If yes, then this is your chance to make a big deal in the business world.
According to the promo uploaded by Sony TV 85000+ applications were received in the first season of Shark Tank India. Sharks Invested over 42 crores in 67 businesses in the first season. In Conclusion, It was a huge success and now it will be interesting to see what the second season has to offer. Shark Tank India is based on the popular concept of the US Shark Tank. Ranvijay Singh was the host of the first season of the show.
