Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate’s office on Monday evening, after five hours of questioning. She was summoned by the ED in connection with the Panama Papers case. ANI posted a video of the actress exiting the investigating agency’s Delhi office. Dressed in all-black attire, Aishwarya sported shades and a black mask as she made her way out amid the media frenzy.
The actress was interrogated for a case linked to the 2016 ‘Panama Papers‘ global tax leaks case, official sources said. Her statement was being recorded under the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). Aishwarya also submitted a few documents to the agency when she appeared before the agency at its office near India Gate.
