On Friday, there was a meeting held of all the Director Generals of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. In the meeting, he asked for the Centre’s commitment to ensuring the safety of every person as a contribution to the last scenario. He got into consideration the increasing number of patients in CAPF. As per reports, various paramilitary sources such as the Border Security Force, Indo Tibet Border Police, Central Industrial Security Force, Sashastra Seema Bal have recorded more than 500 cases so far.
Therefore, he asked the generals to be innovative with the preventive measures against the pandemic. He suggested having health check-ups regularly. He also asked them to establish a proper hospital for the purpose.
