Amit Shah tweets welcoming ‘vocal for local’ strategy by PM Modi

Union Home Minister Amit Shah praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s utterance of ‘Vocal for Local’ and emphasized on the fact that we should vow to adhere to local companies more as they were our sole companion during this crisis. He also asserted that this would help to make them global in the long run.

Following Modi’s speech, Shah tweeted to make his statement “the 21st century will be the century when India shines” true. This is only possible if 130 crore Indians get together and obey the “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” pledge.

Today, the Prime Minister made a special appeal. In this odd situation when everything was closed, the locals became our hard-time companions and supported us. Therefore, the time has come for us to pledge to use more and more local products and make our local-global,” Shah tweeted in Hindi.

Shah also commended Prime Minister’s endeavour to fight against the deadly coronavirus, stating that his leadership has paved a new path for the world.
He also acclaimed the ₹20 lakh crore package declared by the PM which is 10% of India’s GDP. This package will be provided to meet the interests of the poor, farmers, middle class and business class and emancipate everyone in the Society.

Prime Minister Modi has also said in his address to the nation yesterday that it is high time for us to be self- reliant in every aspect and promote the local products of the country.
