‘Anek’ is the next one in the series with another untouched subject. Ayushmaan Khurrana took to Instagram, to share a picture with a heartwarming caption informing that he has finished his shooting. He wrote, “It’s a wrap! #Anek is very very special. It’s full of surprises. An untouched subject. A very important new age cinema. Why do I get emotional on the last day of the shoot? Coz I will never get to play that character again. I will miss playing Joshua. I will miss North East,”
Anek is directed by Anubhav Sinha. This is where the second film together after Article 15 in 2019. Not much is known about the film except that his character name is Joshua and shooting is done in the Northeast. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and will be releasing on Sept 17, 2021.
