Bois Locker Room controversy gets a new twist, ‘Police reveal gangrape chats sent by girl to test boy’s character’

The Delhi Police Cyber Cell has revealed a massive twist in the “Bois Locker Room” controversy, as a preliminary investigation revealed that it was not an Instagram group but a Snapchat chat between two boys where they are seen talking about “gang-raping” a minor girl, was actually a conversation between a fake account named ‘Siddharth’ (which was made by a minor girl who wanted to find out more about the boy’s character) and just one other participant. The conversation was between a minor boy and a minor girl who was operating the fake account and as of May 10, one minor boy and a college student (older than 18) have been arrested and their devices sealed for forensic investigation.

More than twenty-four students connected with the case have been interviewed/examined.

The police said, no case will be registered as though creating a fake id is wrong, the girl’s intent was not malicious.

The boy refused to participate in the fake gang rape plan, and stopped communicating with her. He discussed it with his friends, including the girl, and shared a screenshot. The girl, knowing it was her who started the discussion, didn’t report the incident.

One of the boy’s friends shared that screenshot on Instagram and that’s when it went viral on social media.
