Central Government to reimburse the cost of ‘Pulse Oximeter’ bought by CGHS beneficiaries

The government has decided to reimburse the cost of “Pulse Oximeter” by CGHS beneficiaries in the condition of Covid-19.

According to the officiary, CGHS beneficiary who is tested positive for Covid-19 has been allowed to purchase One Pulse Oximeter per family.

Even in the case where there are more than one COVID-19 positive cases in a family of CGHS official, they can claim reimbursement only for one device.

Measuring of the saturation level of oxygen is one of the most important parament during the checkup of Covid-19, it has been allowed for the beneficiaries to purchase the pulse of oximeter on around for the cost of 1200 rupees.
