Char Dham Yatra now open for locals, the decision on tourists will be taken after June 30

The Chardham Devasthanam Board issued an order on Tuesday, that only locals can have the Chardham yatra till June 30. Allowed by only
locals with limited numbers pf devotees and permitted one only.

The limit of devotees inside the temple will be 1,200 in Badrinath temple, 800 in Kedarnath, 600 in Gangotri and 400 in Yamunotri. This
order is issued by Chardham Devasthanam Board CEO Ravinath Raman.

People who have their hotels and guest room near the temples can go into the facilities but they have to strictly follow the rules.

Raman said, “in concurrence with the views of the priests, stakeholders and hak-hakookdharis of the temples, it has been decided not to start the Chardham yatra till June 30.”

A decision on the Chardham yatra will be taken after June 30, the Devasthanam Board CEO said.
