Delhi govt panel asks hospitals to install refrigerated containers to keep bodies

Delhi government panel has asked the hospitals to increase their mortuary capacities due to the increase in the passing of coronavirus affected patients in the state. A five-member panel official has advised the hospitals to install ‘refrigerated containers’ to keep the dead bodies of covid 19 patients.

In the early week of May, the AAP government established a panel to handle coronavirus pandemic in the state. A week ago, the board visited four significant hospitals to audit the readiness. The hospitals were Lok Nayak Hospital, Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Safdarjung Hospital, and RML emergency clinic.
