Diljit Dosanjh gives his Indian Citizenship proof, urges people not to believe “Fake news”…

Diljit Dosanjh is known for his soulful voice and power-packed acting abilities. The Punjabi rockstar, Diljit is also popular for his zany tweets and hilarious videos. With his social media messages, the actor never fails to leave his followers entertained.

While he receives endless affection and love from his fans, there are a few who perpetuate negativity. Diljit is highly criticised for his stand with the protesting farmers on the Delhi’s Singhu border. The farmers are protesting peacefully against the 3 Farm Bills. Diljit was trolled a lot, and thus he was pushed to such limits that he had to prove his nationality.

Diljit wrote on Twitter, “I wasn’t feeling like but here it is — The circumstances are such that I have to now give a proof of my Indian citizenship. Don’t spread hate.”; while sharing the photo of “The Platinum certificate“.

The Ministry of Finance issues the certificate to the taxpaying citizens and the certificate states “We appreciate the taxpayer, in the Platinum category, in recognition of the contribution towards building this great Nation.” Diljit urged the people against protesting farmers to not spread have and chaos in the country about the protest. Later the singer tweeted again saying “One doesn’t need to sit on Twitter and prove they are a patriot, one needs to work towards it.“
