The occasion was to release the trailer of Netflix’s series ‘Aranyak’ to be released next month. Although the heroine of the series is Raveena Tandon, who is going to make her digital debut with this series, the main attraction of the evening was actor Ashutosh Rana, who won the hearts of people with her wit. Another highlight of the evening was a 3D rendition of Fear in the Jungle which garnered applause from the people present here in Shilim ahead of the trailer launch. Taking a jibe at the lack of lighting in the seating area of the journalists during the trailer launch, Ashutosh said, “It is good that the face of the questioner is not visible, otherwise the intention of the question is often decided by the appearance of the person asking.”

Netflix has planned the release of many web series after ‘Aranyak’, in which ‘Yeh Kali Kali Aankhen’ and ‘Decapled’ are considered very special.
Raveena Tandon said on the occasion that her digital debut with ‘Aranyak’ is a completion of one cycle in her acting journey. She says, ’30 years ago I made my big-screen debut with Sippy Films with ‘Pathar Ke Phool’ and now she is going to make her digital debut with this production house. Raveena says her character in the web series ‘Aranyak’ is a new chapter in women’s empowerment and it resonates with the power of many Indian women who want to do something good in their careers along with taking care of their families.
