As Christmas is around the corner, Netflix has started the celebration by announcing the new season of the glassblowing competition show “ Blown Away” which has earlier collaborated with the Corning Museum of Glass.
This series will be hosted by Bobby Berk of Queer Eye, an interior designer and television personality. Berk was seen as a guest judge in season 2 of the show. “I’ve been a fan of ‘Blown Away’ since the moment it premiered, and I’m honoured to be officially joining the family as the host of ‘Blown Away: Christmas,’” Berk tells Variety. “I got a taste of the incredible experience and craftsmanship as a guest judge on Season 2 and can’t wait to get back into the hot shop this holiday season.” He further added.
It will be a four 30 minutes episode going to release on November 19. In this holiday spectacular five fan-favourites from the flagship series return to the hot shop to compete in a series of Christmas-themed challenges in the quest to become the best in holiday blow. The winner will be receiving a cash prize of $10,000 and an additional $10,000 to be donated to their charity of choice.
Resident evaluator and glass master Katherine Gray will also be seen again in the series after appearing in the first two seasons.
